Hello Casino : The Next Best Thing in Online Gaming, Or Best Left Avoided?

We’ve already published a couple of online casino reviews, but this time around, we’re going to review Hello Casino. We will look at the site’s design and usability, all the payment/deposit methods and games on offer to play, bonuses on offer, the overall security and customer support of the casino, and whether the site is available on mobile. We will weigh everything up, to help players in their quest of working out if Hello Casino could be a worthwhile choice the next time they play.

Is the Site Design of Hello Casino Appealing?

Once our account is set up, Hello Casino appears to be slick and appealing on first glance. However, delve even further, and it’s clear to see that it’s somewhat more basic than other casino sites. The top bar is very minimal, only featuring a menu and buttons for login or signup and offering no way for players to make a deposit or view their winnings, unlike other sites. What’s particularly strange is the fact that the mobile menu still remains intact, even when the site’s being used on a desktop. We think it’s quite annoying to have to keep clicking, just to access the navigation. In fact, it might even put some users in a spin! Users should be free to click the links on the page straight away, just like they would at any other of the online casinos.

Aside from this, the banners on the home page are tastefully designed. Plus, all the main game categories can be accessed from the same page, which is a strong bonus. We like the fact that in the bottom left corner, there’s a ‘live chat’ button, meaning users can always get help when they need it.

We find it odd that in the footer, there is a long list of terms and conditions. This would definitely be suited to a separate new page as it distracts from the overall design. Aside from this, the area is well-spaced out, containing all the essentials an average user would expect. Such as payment or deposit methods, licensing information and security credentials.

As we review other pages on the casino, we discover that many of them aren’t as good. In fact, we’d go so far as say they look amateurish. The heading text on the promotions page reminds us of clip art text someone may find in Microsoft Word. We’re also not fans of the small font or the odd spacing beneath each placeholder on the page. And there’s little improvement with the bloated, underlined paragraphs which exist there, which are just a total load of legal spin!

Another major drawback is the fact the site is built in Flash. A technology which is now mostly obsolete. So customers wanting to play spins on the go may not necessarily be able to if their device is incompatible or they don’t meet the requirements of the platform.

As a bonus, the banking page is one of the best we’ve ever seen, clearly taking into account the transaction time and minimum amount requirements, in cash, for each method.

What Types of Games are Offered at Hello Casino?

Main game categories for wagering at Hello Casino are slots (spins), live casino games, jackpots and table games, all of which are provided from major developers like Microgaming, amongst others. Sections also apply for top games, new games and games by provider. So, all in all, we’d say the gaming categorisation is excellent.

A good selection of slots (spins) are on offer for players to wager on, which are available over a wide range of different themes. There’s also a good selection of live casino games, including roulette, blackjack, hold ’em, baccarat, and a couple of card games.

When looking at the table games available, it’s clear to see the emphasis is on texas hold ’em poker, blackjack and roulette. However, there are a handful of other exciting games on offer like Mississippi Stud, 100 Bit Dice and All Aces Poker.

There’s also a healthy selection of jackpot games to bet on, with emphasis on themed games, slots and spins. It would therefore be good to see some more games apply to this category.

In the ‘Other’ category, some interesting alternative games are available to wager on, many of which we haven’t seen anywhere else. Many of them are scratchcards. However, there are a handful of other themed games, including Koi Cash and Balloon Machine. There’s also a horse racing game as well which is a very welcome bonus for any player who likes wagering on sportsbooks.

We couldn’t see any video poker games on offer, so that might be a win win addition.

Making Withdrawals and Deposits at Hello Casino

When it comes down to payment at Hello Casino, there are plenty of different deposit options to choose from. MasterCard and VISA are instantly recognisable forms of money, along with some internet banking options, several of which we’ve never heard of. All transactions come with a minimum amount of £10 and strong maximum limits. However, funds do process instantly rather than taking days. Apart from Bank Wire which depends on the bank the customer is with. They also appear to be free.

Withdrawal options, on the other hand, are much more limited. VISA is included, with Skrill, Neteller and Bank Wire also being available, offering instant withdrawal of your winnings from £10 to the maximum total. We were expecting some more credit card options to be available, to be honest, as not everyone likes to apply these methods of deposit or withdrawal with their funds.

Is Hello Casino Secure? Do they Look After their Customers?

Hello Casino is managed by White Hat Gambling Ltd, a company licensed and regulated according to Maltese law, as well as Great Britain and Sweden. Customers outside these areas are still welcome to play, however, the site is licensed and regulated by the Malta Gambling Authority, so any player should check if they are covered in this area.

Responsible gambling and gaming is promoted in several different places across the casino. The site also has a responsible gambling policy and discourages underage gambling or underage playing of any game. The site promises to take safety seriously, using advanced and up to date encryption techniques.

Players funds are protected against things like power failure thanks to autosave which occurs throughout their games. So, there’s no need to panic about losing funds when playing slots or placing a bet! Random number generators are also used, and if a customer experiences a problem, they can access customer support via the live chat or email buttons. A concrete complaints procedure can also be accessed which is an added bonus. For example, if a customer notices money has gone missing from their account.

Will Hello Casino Let me Play on the Go?

Hello Casino does promise to work on mobile devices. However, we’re not sure how well, as this casino is built using the outdated technology, Flash. This has now largely been replaced with a new technology, HTML 5 and has been now for many years. So we’re surprised this casino still makes use of it. Resultantly, we don’t know how many devices Hello Casino will work on. Subsequently, there’s no mobile app available either. So, customers can’t really make a deposit, play spins or win cash on the go. A mobile app and responsive design would be a welcome addition to the casino.

Overall, is Hello Casino Worth Playing at?

Despite some tweaks, good design is probably Hello Casinos biggest asset. The site is undoubtedly slick and appealing, while the banners on the casino are tastefully designed. As part of our review, it’s great to see that all games categories can be accessed from the homepage, while the live chat button in the bottom left provides easy access to help. The footer is nicely designed containing all the essentials, and the banking page is very clear, providing customers with all the information they need for doing common tasks like making a deposit.

In terms of games, there’s an excellent choice of slot/spins and live casino games, as well as alternative games, including scratchcards. These are all available through major games developers, such as Microgaming. We also like the bonuses available for new players.

Customers will be pleased to know there are many deposit options to choose from, which have few restrictions, process instantly and are free.

The site is fully licensed and regulated in several different places which is a bonus. Responsible gambling is heavily encouraged across the casino, while underage gambling is strongly discouraged. The site is secure, using random number generators and encryption. Furthermore, good customer support is available, with live chat available so customers don’t have to wait days to get their problem solved. There’s also a robust complaints procedure. For example, if you think wagering requirements for certain games are unfair, or if you have used codes for bonuses that haven’t worked.

On the downside, the design could definitely do with some tweaks. It’s really off-putting that a mobile menu is used on the desktop version of the site, and we feel the footer is too overloaded with various different terms and conditions. As far as the promotions page is concerned, we think that it’s poorly designed and the font, in particular, could do with some adjustment. It’s dreadful that the site is built in Flash as this technology is now considered obsolete. Plus, no mobile app is available, so sometimes, it might be tricky to make spins on the go.

We would like to see some more games added to the table games category as at the moment, texas hold ’em, blackjack and roulette are the main ones being offered. While there is also a large number of jackpot games available, they all tend to be of the same type. So again, it would be good to see a better selection on offer. No video poker games were available either.

Deposit and withdrawal options are limited, in particular, credit cards, with only one option, VISA, being provided. This is unusual, considering many other online casinos are not limited this way. Nevertheless, e-payment, like Neteller, was available.

Additionally, we couldn’t find a telephone number for customer support. Therefore, customers are forced to use either live chat or email support on their quest to get help.
